Year-End Review: Bizzy Bee Academy's First Year

As we wrap up our first year at Bizzy Bee Academy, we want to take a moment to reflect on our journey, celebrate our achievements, and share some memorable moments with you. This year has been a whirlwind of excitement, learning, and growth. Join us as we look back on the highlights of this magical FIRST year!

1. Our Vision and Mission

From the very beginning, Bizzy Bee Academy was founded with a clear vision: To empower families by cultivating a strong and supportive community that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth through enriching classes, community events, and public outreach initiatives, thereby enriching the educational experiences of homeschooled children and bridging the gap between homeschoolers and the wider society.

2. Enrollment and Community Growth

We are thrilled to have welcomed over 75 students this year! Our diverse community has grown, bringing together families from various backgrounds. The support from parents and the enthusiasm of our students have been invaluable to our success.

3. Curriculum Highlights

This year, we introduced several innovative programs that focus on hands-on learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Some of the highlights include:

STEM Workshops: with Littles Robotics making Bristle bots and so much more!
Art and Music Classes: We did art for all ages and started our first Music class with a certified teacher. Which turned into a musical in Spr

4. Special Events and Celebrations

Throughout the year, we hosted various events that brought our community together:

Valentines day Fundraising: our special Valentine's Day fundraising event featuring delicious chocolate dipped strawberries! This event was a LOT of work but we sold so many and it was an EPIC Success!

End-of-Year Showcase: A celebration of our students’ achievements and talents. We did a Musical for the 3 little pigs as well as a Drama show.

A Mothers Blessings: We did a blessing for our 2 expecting moms. It was a sweet event that pampered mom.

5. Looking Ahead

As we look forward to the next year, we are excited to expand our programs and continue fostering a love for learning. We plan to introduce new classes, enhance our facilities, and further engage with our community. Together, we can make an even bigger impact!
